Ron Burlison has over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry and has been active with the Sunstar Insurance Group since its inception in 2012, holding various leadership and management positions with Sunstar.
He is a graduate of Truman State University with a degree in Business Administration and began his career as an underwriter with a national insurer and subsequently served that company in several management posts. Ron then moved to the agency side, joining Chapman-Sander Insurance Agency as a sales executive where he eventually became its President and agency owner.
Sunstar purchased the agency in 2012, becoming the initial acquisition of the company. Later, the agency merged with Hogan Insurance Group and has since operated as Chapman & Hogan Insurance Group.
Ron holds the designations of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Underwriting (AU) and is a past member of the Board of Directors of the St. Louis Association of Independent Agents. He offers years of experience and technical knowledge in all lines of insurance and welcomes the opportunity to apply those skills to the benefit of his clients.
